  • This is a question we get a lot. And, yes! It really works!

Our products are independently tested at third-party labs to work at a specific thickness, which is verified throughout the testing process.  We use the AAMP (Association for Materials and Protection and Performance Specification) as the gold standard by which we operate.

  • It's not fireproof. It's fire-resistant. No real-world material offers absolute, indefinite protection.

That being said, we have an ASTM E-2768 certification. Which means less than a 10.5 M spread with a torch putting out 55,000 BTU per minute.

We exceed the class A fire rating as our products will prevent ignition for 30 minutes instead of 10.

We meet Colorado WUI Standards for ignition-resistant building materials. (wildland-urban interface) which is required for most foothills and mountain areas, as per Senate Bill SB 23-166.

  • There is no additional environmental impact or burden. PFAs free and NO forever chemicals.

  • As long as the top protective coat is maintained, BlazeStop Coating will remain fire resistant.

  • You cannot buy this product retail.

We work with certified teams of professional and trusted painting partners to insure the product is applied correctly and safely. To be fully effective in its fire-resistance, the coating must be a certain thickness and be protected from the elements by a top coat. By applying the coating from start to finish, we can certify correct application.

  • The price is calculated by the square footage of your house and the brand of paint chosen as a top coat. Price also includes the labor of the painters.
